Apartment for Rent

This fully furnished apartment is for rent short term, long term, vacation, with or without utilities.

The Ezell House was built in 1887 by Evan B. Ezell in the Victorian style popular after the Civil War.

In the south, a "summer kitchen" was a separate building attached to the main house by a breezeway. This kept the main house cooler in the summer (isolated from the wood stove) and in the event of a fire, the breezeway could be chopped away to save the main structure.

The Ezell House summer kitchen was converted to an apartment in the 1930's when the breezeway was enclosed. It was renovated again in the 2000's with period colors and antique fixtures.

It's a favorite home base for vacationers, and tourists exploring the "Antebellum Trail" as well as students, remote workers, and locals.
